Sexy Roleplay!

Ok folks, who here loves to roleplay?  I think that is one of my all-time favorite activities to help spice things up in the bedroom.  A few props and a sexy costume or two is all you need to start the fun, and it doesn’t have to be elaborate.  I loved this article from Toys For Kink about it – I always knew sexy roleplay could be fun but I didn’t realize how positive and helpful it can be for couples who are struggling in the bedroom and in their relationship.  Apparently it helps:

  • Build communication
  • Increases Confidence
  • Reduces Inhibitions
  • Refreshes Stale Relationships
  • Keeps Things Exciting

That really makes sense.  It takes confidence to break out of any nervousness and try playing a role, and it especially takes confidence to tell your partner about a secret fantasy!  The first time I told my boyfriend in high school that I wanted to be spanked, I was almost shaking I was so nervous.  I remember we were playfully wrestling and I was trying to cheat.  He told me that I was cheating and that I was a bad girl (even those words got my heart racing and took my breath away!)  I shyly told him that bad girls have to be punished.  He grinned and took the lead, flipping me over and delivering several swats.  He was totally into it!  That was the first of many hot times, including lots of naughty school girl fantasies.

Usually it builds a lot of trust to be open with your partner about sexy roleplay fantasies, and it can really help add to the excitement too.  Want to be a slutty nurse or a dominatrix?  Or maybe go really naughty with some rape roleplay (check out my hot story for ideas on that theme!) or daddy/girl ageplay!  It’s all fun as long as it’s consensual.  Talk it out first!  Try something new and go from there.

What’s your favorite sexy roleplay and how do you get in the mood?
